Mr. Shoaib and our Rhinoplasty team want to make sure you get the most out of your imaging gallery. during the process of optimisng or finalising your before and after photos, please read and complete this consent form. Upon completion of your consent form, your Imaging Gallery will be optimised and/or finalised and sent to your surgeon for your approval.
This document helps you better understand the purpose and limitations of imaging, and that expectations are aligned with the clinical and surgical reality of your treatment.
The digital imaging provides a visual reference based on what you and Mr. Shoaib discussed during your consultation. It reflects a safe, balanced, and proportionate goal, tailored to your facial structure.
Imaging serves as a planning and communication tool, not a guarantee or promise of your final surgical outcome.
If the changes you’ve requested exceed what is surgically or medically safe, Mr. Shoaib will inform you. The best results are always achieved within safe anatomical limits.
The imaging is created using medical simulation software, not cosmetic filters or Photoshop. It is designed to show a realistic and natural-looking aim, not an overly refined or artificial outcome.
The software modifies the nose’s surface structure only. It cannot simulate how bone, cartilage, skin thickness, or soft tissue will respond in surgery or during healing.
Your imaging has not yet been produced. This consent is not about approving the images, but about understanding the purpose and limitations of imaging before it is created. Once this form is completed, your personalised gallery will be prepared and sent securely for your review.
While it’s natural to focus only on your nose in the simulation, Mr. Shoaib views your results in relation to your entire face. The goal is always proportion, not perfection.
Facial asymmetries are normal and often more noticeable when focusing on a single feature. Imaging helps guide improvements, not eliminate every natural variation.
Changes as small as 1–2mm often fall within the natural range of healing and may not result in visible differences post-surgery.
The preview reflects a surgical aim, not a guaranteed result. Post-operative healing, swelling, tissue behaviour, and anatomical responses can all affect the final outcome.
Imaging does not account for:
Swelling or bruising
Scar tissue development
Skin thickness or elasticity
Delayed healing
These variables are reviewed in your Rhinoplasty Patient Guide Booklet and is also discussed during your surgeon consultation.
If you would like minor refinements to your imaging (e.g., a slightly more or less refined tip), we will do our best to adjust specific slides.
We advise against sending multiple example images or “celebrity noses” as references to us. Rhinoplasty is not about copying a look; it’s about achieving natural balance and proportion for your face.
If your goals change or you want to re-discuss your preferences after viewing the simulation, please contact us before surgery.
If you are undergoing revision rhinoplasty, the following limitations and expectations are especially important:
Imaging Is a Visual Guide, Not a Guarantee
The preview serves as an informed illustration of what may be surgically achievable. It does not reflect a guaranteed outcome, especially when internal anatomy is unpredictable.
Revision Rhinoplasty Has Surgical Limits
Previous surgeries may have altered your nasal structure, introduced scar tissue, or reduced cartilage support. These limitations can affect how closely the result matches the imaging.
Imaging Is Based on Surface Aesthetics Only
While the simulation modifies external appearance, it cannot predict how your skin, scar tissue, or internal structures will respond to surgery or heal over time.
Every Revision Nose Heals Differently
Prior surgeries affect blood supply, tissue integrity, and swelling. Even when the operation follows the imaging precisely, healing may produce a different outcome.
The Preview Represents a Direction, Not a Destination
Our goal is to work toward the imaging preview where safe, but final surgical decisions may adapt to preserve structure, support, and breathing function.
Over-Correction Risks in Revision Surgery
Pursuing an overly sharp or idealised version of the preview may compromise healing or nasal stability. We aim for a strong, natural result, not a fragile or over-refined outcome.
Safety and Long-Term Integrity Always Come First
If intraoperative findings require deviation from the plan to protect nasal function or support, Mr. Shoaib will act in your best interest.
Healing Timelines Are Longer in Revision Cases
Swelling in revision rhinoplasty often persists longer than in primary cases. Final results may take 12–24 months and may evolve differently from the simulation.
The Imaging Is a Guide, Not a Template
Its purpose is to clarify direction and align goals, not to serve as a pixel-for-pixel expectation of what surgery will deliver.
